Sharing a moment

At the wedding of Rhona and Callum a special moment came about as I took them for a photo of 'cutting the cake'. The cake was in the function room where the band was warming up. So after the photo I invited them to have a jig whilst the band practiced.
Over 100 guest waited outside the room unaware that Rhona and Callum shared a dance together.

Here are a few image from the wedding of Rhona and Callum who got married at Murrayshall Hotel on Sunday 19th July 2009. As I post this I am still editing my way through all the images so I may post some additional images soon.

They were a great couple to photograph and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

A few favourites

I am about to cover my second wedding since coming back to shooting social photography this Sunday. I have previous shot over 20 weddings in the 1990s but only recently felt the desire to start shooting weddings again.

Here are a few of MY favourites from the previous wedding. Some straight images and some artistic interpretations produced for the Bride and Grooms calender.

Chrisann and Jamie pre-wedding shoot

These images were taken at the end of April in Dunkeld and I have only managed to update the wedding blog.
I met Chrisann and Jamie, who stay in the Lothians, for the pre-wedding shoot as they travelled to Pitlochry for a wedding fayre. I use these shoots as a way to get to know couples and also let the couple know what type of photographer I am before they decide on using me for their big day. They are a great couple and although were quite nervous at first soon relaxed making a memorable shoot.
They are getting married in Pitlochry later in the year and I will be there to record all the moments.
